Should goverments help refugees?

Rich governments should not support environmental refugees without people’s authorization because of all the money from people. The governments have the right to organize donation activity, but the decision should on their own people. The destruction of the environment will lead to refugees, it is a problem all over the world, their numbers are too large, and they will continue to increase. Kakissis(2010) explains, “At least 12 million people live in Dhaka, and there are more than 400,000 newcomers each year” (para.8). This is shows there are more refugees, and the government of the world cannot help all refugees. People should decide whether to help the refugees, not governments because it is no end to this kind of help, and use the people’s money. Moreover, governments and people should recognize the source of the problem. Money is limited, and fixing the environment can solve a lot of problems. however, people need to decide to give limited money to refugees or to restore the environment. For example, “Since 1987, Arctic sea ice area has shrunk by some 9 percent per decade and has thinned as well” (Handwerk,2004, para.5). Environmental problems are the problems of the world, and It affects more than one country. People should decide that which one is the most important that fixing the environment or saving the refugees, I believe that Democracy is a good way. In addition, people can set up the voluntary organization to help refugees, government and school can also promote such the activities. For instance, in my country China, every school has donated activities in every year, and it is people volunteered, not enforced because some families are poor. In conclusion, people have right to decide to help refugees or not because the money of government comes from the people. It is the responsibility of government to build the country and safeguard it, if it is the donation, the people have right to vote.

Summary of Enviornmental Refugees Unable to Return Home

Summary of Environmental Refugees Unable to Return Home

In “Environmental Refugees Unable to Return Home,” Joanna Kakissis shows that some people cannot go back to their hometowns because of natural disasters. Because of that, those people lost everything and must move to another big city. In addition, the moves to Dhake from Bangladesh generally become permanent due to the lack of resources in their original cities that are vulnerable because of global warming. Even in Dhaka, some of those people’s situations are still poor because they live in tents near rivers where the crime is normal. Bangladesh also tries to find other opportunities in other cities. Furthermore, many international organizations try to help those people. These refugees report that they really want to back their home even though it seems to be no hope in their hometowns and they don’t have money to do that.
People’s attitudes toward climate change is the key responsibility for those people who are suffering due to climate change. In the future, human beings should pay more attention toward global warming because anyone could be the next victim of natural disasters.

Response of  Innovations for the Developing World

One point that the author mentions clean water that Kamen plans to do. This is significant because he invented the most convenient water purifier, and he solved the problem of dirty water. The most important is that he brought a new era to people. First, Kamen’s water purifier was more simple than large power plant and water works. His invention was not only convenient but also saved money. Next, any water, even sewage, could become to drinking water because of the machine. The machine increased the drinking water production, and it solved the problem which was that people lack water. Finally, the invention needs some entrepreneur to operate. When some entrepreneur invests the equipment, they could provide lots of labor post, and they solved the unemployment problem. In conclusion, the Kamen’s water purifier solved many problems which include making drinking water, saving money, and providing jobs. In my opinion, the invention is very important to the development of human, and a perfect invention can change the world. People should improve their children’s creativity in the future education.

An Upheaval Summary

                                                              An Upheaval Summary

In the story An Upheaval by Chekhov, the writer describes that Maskenka is a tutor in a rich family. The rich hostess Fedosya lost a brooch and she thinks that Maskenka stole it. The sharp Fedosya wants to
ransack maskenka's room. In fact, Maskenka did not steal the brooch. She thinks that she did not get any respect, so she wants to leave. The man of house Nikolay apologizes to her and explains that he stolen the brooch because he doesn't want Maskenka to leave. Finally, Maskenka can't suffer the shame, so she still chooses to leave.
In my opinion, it is a  significant story. The story satirized some nobles who only have money but are lowbrow. The writer uses the story telling people that his dissatisfaction with the nobility and he pity the people. The story was finished in the nineteenth Century. In that time, The Russia was still is a backward feudal country with serfdom, so the writer wants to describe the social phenomenon in that time. On the other hand, the writer used describe the way of dynamic to complete the article. In the story, the writer used colloquial style to describe the interesting story. Moreover, the author chose the first-person perspective to tell readers what the story says.
From my own perspective, I like the story because it expressed an attitude which people don't compromise with wealth and everyone is equal. For example, I have seen some rich people who like Fedosya, they look down on poor people who like Mashenka. Even though the poor people don't have great wealth, they may have a good education better than some rich people. So the good education is more valuable than money, and people who have good education more should be respected. If  I were Maskenka , I also choose to leave because to be respected is very important. For another example, my friend Yang, he was looked down upon by his boss before because of his economy, then he chose to leave the company and more work hand. After some years, my friend Yang also to be a boss which owns a company.
